Aurelis Resort
Hospitality brand, booking site & launch
(01) — Overview
A cliffside resort was losing a third of its margin to booking platforms. We rebuilt the brand and a direct-booking funnel guests actually prefer.

Challenge
Aurelis had the view, the rooms and the reviews — but 70% of bookings came through platforms taking up to a fifth of every stay. The old site looked like every other resort on the coast and hid the booking button three clicks deep.
(04)
Approach
We started with guests, not the hotel. Interviews showed people booked Aurelis for the silence and the cliffside pool, so the brand leaned into stillness: a warmer palette, slower photography and copy that sounds like a concierge, not a brochure.
The new Framer site puts availability on the first screen, remembers returning guests and rewards booking direct with small, specific perks instead of blanket discounts.

Outcome
Direct bookings grew 62% in the first season and platform commission dropped by almost a third. The team now updates rates, packages and seasonal pages themselves — no developer required.

We finally own the relationship with our guests. The site pays for itself every single week.
